We are a South Bay favorite! Lots of wood, arched windows, tin ceilings, marble counters and brass rails give us a San Francisco look. The restaurant overlooks the Cabrillo Marina and 24 large deep-sea fishing and sport diving boats, which arrive and depart in front of the restaurant.

We have a private banquet room on the marina that seats 70 people, with a private deck for 20 additional guests. Diners enjoy watching the sea lions and pelicans compete for fish scraps and leftover bait as the boats return to their berths.

Restaurant Row Magazine

"...the first thing I did at 22nd St. Landing was dive headfirst into a platter of Fanny Bay oysters, an act not unlike diving into the ocean itself. Instantly, I was immersed in the bracing, briny salt taste of the sea, for me the most potent appetite stimulant in the world.

It was the perfect start to a most memorable dinner at 22nd St. Landing, a seafood grill and bar with a panoramic view of the new Cabrillo Marina located in L.A.’s outer harbor.

Looking out the restaurant’s huge windows, you’ll be riveted by the comings and goings of one of Southern California’s largest sportfishing fleets, as well as weatherbeaten commercial fishermen, lanky scuba divers returning from Catalina and thrill-seekers checking out the shark cages.

After appetizers, soup or salad, you should have your momentum going just in time for the main course — and that means choosing from a dozen fish "so fresh, they talk back to the Chef!" And a master broiler he is, using a blend of apple and citrus wood to infuse every filet with an amazing, subtle smokey flavor."

The District Weekly

"Overlooking the marina, the restaurant (air-conditioned and spacious, with lots of windows) aims for a Fisherman’s Wharf feel and achieves it. Known for its sunset views (and raved about on Yelp.com for its affordable California seafood cioppino), I arrived at 22nd Street Landing in the mood for fish and chips—and promptly changed my mind upon seeing grilled shrimp skewers on the menu. I ordered a plate, with new potatoes, vegetables and a starter cup of lobster bisque. My friend decided on Atlantic salmon lightly brushed with olive oil and grilled over applewood, paired with garlic mashed potatoes and clam chowder. No drinks—though there is a full bar, and Fat Tire and Newcastle were tempting draft options..."
